Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the website.
What HTML program do you use to create these webpages? |
Right now, I am using Arachnophilia (version 4.0) to create pretty much every webpage I make now. I prefer this program over NotePad because I can open multiple pages at one time (instead of opening a seperate version of NotePad for each page). I can't leave FrontPage Express or AOLPress out of the list, either...Though I really don't use them anymore for creating webpages, I learned some very important HTML commands as a result of messing around on them...But all in all, Arachnophilia is my choice of an HTML editor to use for webpage coding. |
Speaking of programs and such, can you tell me which ones you use, as well as the kind of computer you have? |
OK, first off, I'll list what kind of computers I have: The old one is a custom-built
tower system (made by Armstrong Microsystems)
running Windows 98 Second Edition, with a 400 MHz Pentium II processor, 128 MB RAM, a
30 GB hard drive, and a 17" monitor. The resolution has been set to 800 × 600
pixels, with a 24-bit color depth. The new one is also a custom-built tower system
(made by the same company) running Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, with a 2.4 GHz Pentium
IV processor, 512 MB RAM, a 120 GB hard drive, and a 19" flat screen CRT monitor. The
resolution has been set to 1,024 × 768 pixels, with a 32-bit color depth.
The equipment I use with my new computer includes an Altec Lansing ATP3 2.1 speaker system, an EPSON Perfection 1640SU flatbed scanner, a Fujifilm USB Drive (256 MB), a Hewlett-Packard 2000Cxi inkjet printer, a Kodak DC215 zoom digital camera, a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0, a Microsoft Natural keyboard, a Netgear RT311 gateway router, and a Netgear FS605 5-port Fast Ethernet switch, a SanDisk ImageMate 6 in 1 card reader/writer, and a Toshiba PCX2200 cable modem.
And now, here are the programs (new computer only; all programs are assumed to be the
most recent versions of each, unless specified otherwise):
