The Adventures of Ragnarok and Excalibur

Chapter 5

Payback

After hearing that a special relic was in the Fanatic's Tower, known as the Gem Box, which gives the power to use two spells at once, Ragnarok and Excalibur travel to get it, but they find that someone is blocking the exit, known as the Magimaster.

"I'll try using a double spell with this thing," Ragnarok said.

"Well, if you're doing anything with that thing, don't aim it at me," Excalibur whispered.

After a long battle, the Magimaster casts Ultima on the duo.

"Watch out! He's using my spell!" Ragnarok shouted.

The Magimaster then perished.

Ragnarok and Excalibur were soon revived from the phoenix, whom they saved earlier.

"What happened?" Excalibur said.

"I don't know," Ragnarok answered.

They soon found out that it was the phoenix who saved them, and they thanked him.
